I am excited to see how ePortfolio is going to fit into my English class and what we will be able to use it for. I believe that ePortfolio has the potential to help my professor, my classmates, and I to connect with each other outside of the classroom. This definitely will make things possible that simple pen and paper cannot, such as being able to communicate whenever, wherever. It gives us the ability to expand beyond the classroom and think outside of class.

In the past, I have used a website/blog similar to this in my Spanish class. One difference is that I used it to post things for only my teacher to look at, not other classmates. The interaction on it was very minimal; I would make a post about whatever the given assignment was, then she would comment, and that would be the end of it. It will be interesting to see how this will work with more people communicating with each other and with a more flexible outlook on everything.
